On November 2nd, an amazing fundraiser will be born. Thanks to an immeasurable amount of hard work (to honor the memory of her father), my dear friend Katie Bradford Osbourne will launch the first annual Becoming Women of Heart Exhibition, a gallery of artists contributing their talent and work to a great cause – supporting families who are struggling with Cancer. I am both thrilled and honored to be selected as one of the artists whose work will be displayed at this opening and I hope with all my heart that the work sold will make a difference for some of the families who, like mine, have been turned upside down by this horrible disease. My fabulous sister-in-law, Annie, jumped at the chance to do her part by becoming a “Woman of Heart” and allowing me to make art out of the sadness that comes when you lose someone dear to you for reasons you can’t ever explain. Annie has been there too – and there is nothing more rewarding than giving of yourself to heal the kind of wounds that run deep. I’m grateful to her for being willing to let me transform my sadness into inspiration – and for being so beautiful an an inspiration herself!
Some of these images will be featured at the event – and some images not posted here will be featured too. If you are in Philadelphia (or nearby) I hope you will consider coming out for this fundraiser – be wooed by the amazing artistry of some of Philadelphia’s finest, be entertained by the amazing musical talent Williamsboy band and most importantly – make a difference. If not for your family, for the so many families who are much closer to you than you might think.

These are some fantastic images for what sounds like a great cause. Jenna these are amazing! I’m running out of adjectives to describe how incredibly beautiful your work is, because you keep out doing yourself! Beautiful subject, excellent lighting, tons of emotion on both sides of the lens.
These are beautiful!
